Unbroken Yarn
The totally original construction of the Unbroken Yarn Cardigan is deceptive in its simplicity. Worked with very few breaks in the yarn, knitting begins with the button bands and collar and then clever shaping creates the back and fronts simultaneously. Once the fronts are complete, the back continues down until the sides can be joined and sleeves are worked down in stockinette stitch. Not a purl in sight until the garter cuffs are worked in the round!
