In A Game of Thrones, Jon Snow gives his sister, Arya, a sword fighting lesson in which he ends his teaching with the tip, “Stick them with the pointy end.” Inspired by that wisdom, this sock has a centered classic cable which anchors the design while traveling, twisted-stitch cables flank it and add movement to the pattern. (Movement and flanking are important in sword fighting!) The cables come to the center of the sock to end in points before or during the toe decreases, thus creating “the pointy end.”

This cuff-down pattern has a choice of a slipped-stitch heel or a patterned heel flap.

There are three sizes available: Small (68 sts), Medium (72 sts) and Large (80 sts)
