A Flower Belt to wear with a Plain Dress. Published in Woman’s Weekly 1947.

Pattern requires two 1oz balls of crochet cotton in different colours, plus snap fasteners/press studs to fasten ends of belt.

Belt as given is 1.5” wide and 28” long, with a 3” wide section at the front onto which eight crochet flowers are sewn as decoration. Each flower has six pointed petals worked in crochet thread, slightly ruffled around a flat centre, with an outline in the second colour. The two colours together are used to work the stiffer belt, which is made in plain d.c.
