These mitts were originally designed for my handspun in 2007. I had designed them to represent my blog named The Giving Flower with the palm side symbolizing rose stems. These are the perfect quick knit, stash busting Spring mitts that only take a small amount of sock yarn.
Approximate finished dimensions:
7.5 “ around palm and back of hand.

Skill Level: intermediate.

Yarn: fingering weight yarn, I used
approximately 25 gr. of blue (105 m), 8 gr. of pink (34 m) and 6 gr. (26 m) of green for the dark blue background mitts.

Needles: set of 5 size US 1.5 /2.5 mm and US 2.5 /3 mm double point needles or your preferred method of knitting in the round.

Notions: locking stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round, stitch marker for thumb gusset.

Gauge: 28 sts/4 inches in colorwork
pattern on 3 mm needles.
The pattern is charted and has been thoroughly tested.
