The Melting Snowman
Approximate finished dimensions: 4.5”/ 12 cm high when sitting on the shelf
Skill Level: intermediate
Yarn: 50 gr. each or scraps of sock yarn in red, white and skin color
Needles: size US 1/ 2.25 mm double point needle set of 5
Notions: locking stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round, sewing
needle, yarn needle, embroidery needle, black and orange embroidery floss, about 40 gr./ 1/4 cup of popcorn kernels. 3 buttons and polyester stuffing. You may also need an optional I-cord maker to make the legs, arms and scarf.
Gauge: 30 sts/4 inches although gauge is not important, you do want to have a tight fabric so the stuffing doesn’t show through.
