This was designed for the 2026 Los Angeles Yarn Crawl for StitchStop LA and is dedicated to fiberists everywhere!

This design features some traditional fiber arts tools, including a pair of scissors, weaving shuttle, circular knitting needles, crochet hook, and drop spindle.

MATERIALS

2 Contrasting skeins of Worsted weight yarn

US 7 (4.5mm) 22-24” (56-60cm) circular knitting needles
(or appropriate size to match gauge)

Yardage is rounded up from my actual yardage used.
Please note that I am a loose knitter and you may need to use a larger needles to achieve gauge.

FINISHED SIZE
Measured flat (width x height): 11” x 11.75” (28 x 30cm) after blocking.
Measured in the round (circumference x height): 22” (56cm) x 11.75” (30cm) after blocking.

GAUGE
20 stitches by 24 rounds (per 4”/10cm) for colorwork in stockinette in the round after blocking.

NOTES
To match yardage and gauge, please swatch. Catching floats every 3 stitches for longer (5+) stretches of one color will prevent snagging and loose floats.
