This cowl was designed for the 2025 Sierra Nevada Yarn Crawl for Woolly Llama Yarns and features their lovely shop mascot, as well as the mountains of the area!

MATERIALS

2 Contrasting skeins of DK weight yarn

Sample: Wild Sage Wool - Thyme - DK Shimmer
Colorways: MC: Mossy Moonlight (green) & CC: Hearth Whispers
MC: 175y/160m* CC: 150y/137m* (250y/229m per 100g)

US 3 (3.25mm) 22-24” (56-60cm) circular knitting needles
(or appropriate size to match gauge)

Yardage is rounded up about 10% from my actual yardage used.
Please note that I am extremely loose knitter and you may need to use a larger needles to get gauge.

Optional: 1 repeat dividing marker (to be placed after 71 stitches for the pattern repeat)

NOTES
To match yardage and gauge, please swatch. Catching floats every 3 stitches for longer (5+) stretches of one color will prevent snagging and loose floats.
