Sunflower
Use new or leftover yarns in the happiest yellows for this pretty sunflower. For easiest results, use a similar weight yarn for the center of the flower.
For one of the Sunflowers in the book, I used a popcorn carry-along yarn with the original flower yarn. It made it a lot thicker, so I crocheted only one round of loops, instead of two. You can experiment with other textures and weights of yarn to get the effect you want.
