I love knitting and crochet. yarn and color. I write and teach about knitting and crochet, as well as polymer clay.

My fourth book, Cute Crochet World: A Little Dictionary of Crochet Critters, Folks, Food, and More was released in May 2014. Yay! Can a person get any luckier than to be able to write books about such a wonderful subject?!

My family is from Texas, but we lived in Sheffield, England, from 1996 to 2003. I had great fun as a member of the Hallamshire Guild of Weavers, Spinners, and Dyers. My younger daughter was born in Sheffield. I remember those years fondly.

My mother is from Germany, so I’m glad I can keep up with the Deutsche Haekeler und Strickerinnen here on Ravelry.
