This deep-yoked, raglan pullover features an all-over lace pattern on the sleeves that is reminiscent of the Succulent plant. The pattern is easy to work into raglan shaping, making this a quick and enjoyable knit.

Sample was made in 100% cotton yarn, but any blend of fibers, or even a combination of two yarns (mohair anyone?) that gives the correct gauge, can be substituted.

Sample made in Knit Picks Dishie, 100% cotton, 100g / 190 yds, 5 (5, 6, 6) (7, 7, 8) 8 balls / 850 (950, 1050, 1140) (1200, 1330, 1450) 1520 yds, in color Douglas Fir.

The Succulent stitch pattern is a combination of ribbing and lace, creating a very stretchy fabric, ideal for the balloon sleeves. It has just enough texture and interest for a pullover that is otherwise very simple, and can be an everyday staple.

Top-down, seamless construction, is easily customizable when it comes to the length and sleeve options.

Difficulty level: Adventurous Beginner

Required Techniques: German Short rows, Raglan shaping in pattern.
