There’s a small stream near our home. The water meanders in gentle S-curves back and forth across the floor of a wooded valley. It runs across and around stones and boulders and over occasional rapids. This simple lace pattern mimics that undulating effect -- if you look closely, you can see the boulders and the rapids. This stole is perfect when knit with a yarn with a haze -- just like the foggy mist on the stream in the morning. It will keep the morning chill off of your shoulders no matter how foggy the day!

Pattern includes complete steps to make the stole along with tips and tricks, photo tutorials for centered double decreases and suspended bind-off, and a “Just the Facts” section that gives you the shorthand version of the pattern for easy carry along.
