Color Collusion
Looking for the perfect use for that ball of gradient yarn that you just couldn’t resits? Well, look no further. Color Collusion uses the same principle as a mitered square to create a delightful asymmetrical shawlette. You’ll find your colors collude with each other to make you a very happy knitter!
Note that the put ups for both Freia and Jarbo yarns can be in 50 or 100 gram sizes. The pattern requires 100 grams of yarn. Most fingering weight yarns will work well providing you have sufficient yardage (430 yards or more).
Gauge is for a completed and blocked swatch. While gauge is not very important for fit of this accessory, it is important for you to use your yarn effectively. The pattern is written to consume most of your available yarn. If your gauge is very loose, you may consume more yarn than you have available. Consider either buying more yarn or going down a needle size.
Faux picot edging can be modified for a more pronounced look. See notes in pattern.
