Stowe Away, named for the popular ski town of Stowe, Vermont, is worked top-down with short row shaping under the yoke of lacy leaves to make a slightly longer back. Needles: US 8/ 5.0mm or size to obtain gauge in various lengths, including 16”/ 40cm circular for yoke and sleeves, 32-40”/ 80-100cm circular for body, additional lengths as desired, and DPNs; US 7/ 4.5mm or 1 size smaller than gauge needle in 16”/ 40cm circular and DPNs; sizes 59.5”/ 149cm and 62.25”/ 155.5cm also need a US 6/ 4.0mm or 2 sizes smaller than gauge needle, in 16”/ 40cm circular.

Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rnds = 4”/10cm in Stockinette stitch on larger needles.
