Stoke Toque
How are the waves? When’s the next swell? Did you get out in the water today? Coastal communities know this as stoke – living and breathing the love of the ocean. Whether you surf the waves or just admire them from afar, knit the Stoke Toque and spread the stoke.
Stoke Toque begins at the brim with 2-color ribbing then moves to a stockinette body with periodic garter ridges which are charted alongside the colorwork. This hat features stranded knitting using only two colors per row and makes a slightly slouchy hat. Picture shows large hat on 22”/57cm head.
