Stilla explores the beauty of thoughtful construction. Beginning as a square, poncho-like yoke, the piece resolves into a sweater with an elegant, flattering fit. Flowing across the yoke is a rhythmic stranded colorwork motif with an organic feel
A crisp corrugated rib, reminiscent of a blanket stitch, frames the edges with a subtle graphic detail. Comfortable, distinctive, and endlessly wearable, Stilla is a sweater that feels as satisfying to knit as it is to wear.

CONSTRUCTION
Stilla is worked seamlessly, top down and in the round. You will start by casting on stitches for the neckline, after which the stranded colorwork pattern is established. Then, short rows are worked to shape the back neck. The remainder of the yoke is worked in the round until the underarm, where the front and back are separated from the sleeves.
The sides of the body are filled working short rows, after which the lower body is worked in the round down to the lower edge.
The undersides of the sleeves are filled similarly to the sides of the body, using short rows. Stitches for the neckline are picked up and worked in the round.
