The Bloem sweater is a dazzling piece of knitwear, featuring the most stunning floral patterning on body and sleeves.
But Bloem is more than just a pretty face! The seamless hybrid yoke construction ensures a flattering fit that hugs the shoulders beautifully. This design not only enhances the overall structure but also adds depth and dimension to the colorwork, creating a harmonious blend of style and comfort.
Bloem is as versatile as it is beautiful. Your choice of colors can transform it into an everyday staple or a bold, eye-catching statement piece. Whether you opt for soft, muted tones or
vibrant, daring hues, Bloem is designed to turn heads and leave a lasting impression.

CONSTRUCTION
Bloem is an all-over stranded colorwork sweater, knitted seamlessly from the bottom up. Start by knitting the body in the round up to the underarms. Set the body aside, then knit the sleeves in the round up to the underarms.
Join the body and sleeves, and work the yoke in the round, shaping it with decreases. The shirt yoke is knitted flat, perpendicular to the body, and joined to the front and back as you knit. Pick up stitches for the neckline, knit the ribbing to double height, fold it, and sew it to the inside of the neckline.

In the pattern you’ll find directions for lengthening the sleeves and the body to suit your preferences, style, and aesthetics.
