Sticky Stripes
A classically designed hat with a small twist. The light cablework near the brim provides some texture, while the brim itself is stretchy and suited for many sizes. Customize your own stripe patterns to make this hat yours.
I am the worst with names and titles. As I was knitting the ribbing I was dreading coming up with a name for this pattern, but I was also trying to figure out some cable pattern to integrate into the body. I kept coming back to some striped pattern (half of my wardrobe is striped, 9 days out of 10 you’ll find me wearing some stripey design) then it hit me - stripes just work. They’re classic, they’re addicting, and they go with everything. Stripes just stick with me everywhere I go, much like the namesake Gumshoe used for the MC.
This being my first design, I’m mostly just testing out the waters and getting a feel for how the publishing process works. I’ve got plenty of designs I’m dreaming up, I just can’t wait to get them started!
