Cocoa Nights
Feb 4, 2022 Note: This design has gotten a makeover! After a few years my design style has developed a lot, and I’ve revisited this design to reformat the file and make the instructions more clear, as well as tweak the pattern slightly to make it better :) Through February 20, enjoy an automatic $1 discount on the pattern!
Handknit socks are arguably the coziest of cozy items, and when better to wear them than on a chilly winter night? In sport weight yarn, these socks are knit up quickly and are guaranteed to keep you cozy!
These comfy socks are knit from the cuff-down, using a simple slipped stitch colorwork motif which is easy to memorize as you quickly progress through the stripes. The heel is constructed using the heel flap method, and after you work your way down to the toes the socks are finished using a kitchener stitch.
