A pretty Spring kerchief makes for an absolutely lovely accessory.
A single Lightly skein was used here. Knitted from the top down, ever growing down to a beautiful but easy to knit lace border followed by pretty eyelets and garter stitches. The look and feel is incredibly light and airy~
The blocked crescent shape measures 68“ in length and 12“ in middle height. The pattern is fully written and offers a lace chart as well.
Yarn used
A Lightly skein with 238 yards and 7 changes in colors and textures. Fibers range from cottons, rayons and linens and combinations thereof. Available at www.yarnz2go.com
Notions needed
US size 6 (4 mm) circular needle 32” (81 cm) in length.
2 Stitch markers.
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge
16 sts and 24 rows in 4“ of stockinette stitch in a light fingering weight.
Techniques applied
Knitting, purling lace knitting, increasing, stretchy bind off, weaving in ends and blocking.
