Spring-Heeled Jack (so named after the Victorian folklore character) is easy TV or company knitting.
These thick socks knit up super quick, about as close to instant gratification as you can get in hand-knits for the feet. Max socks are ideal for winter wear - perfect inside boots or as a slipper-substitute at home.

Stripes are great: they look nice and they use up leftover yarn well. But when working in the round, regular stripes have a visible jog between one round and the next which is unsightly. Not so with helical stripes - here the colours spiral around each other and there is no jog!
