The design:
S(pi)ral Mat is a quick, easy and functional make. Perfect to use under plates, pots or vases etc. The design is a seamless spiral and the use of Pi formula results in a true circle.

Materials needed:
S(pi)ral Mat was designed using 8ply/DK/Weight 4 yarn. Meterage used was approximately 170m depending on the thickness of your 8ply
Mat is a fixed size and measures approx. 30-34cm diameter again depending on the thickness of the yarn. It could be made larger using 10ply/Aran/Worsted weight yarn (amount needed will vary)
Stitch markers x1
Wool/darning needle
Recommended Hook size:
3-3.5 mm for 8ply
Or hook appropriate for your chosen yarn weight

sc: Single crochet
ch: Chain
skp: Skip stitch
sl st: Slip stitch
ch-sp: Chain space
