The design:
Hoppity hoppity the Easter Bunny has been and you can now settle down for Sunday Brunch with your Bunny Brunch set. Hot chocolate and marshmallows on your mug mat and a basket of hot cross buns perhaps on the centre mat.
The mats work up extremely quickly and are not overtly Easter themed so they can be used all year round.

Materials needed:

4ply/fingering/weight 2 Cotton: Meterage used for each Mug Mat was 22 m and for the Centre Mat was 65 m. I used a 3 mm hook. The Mug Mat measures 13 cm and the Centre Mat measures 23 cm

8ply/DK/weight 3 cotton: Meterage used for each Mug Mat was 25 m and for the Centre Mat was 75 m. I used a 4 mm hook. The Mug Mat measures 16 cm and the Centre Mat measures 26 cm

You can make Bunny Brunch in any weight yarn. Meterage will vary based on yarn used, hook size and crochet style.

Stitch markers.

Wool/darning needle.

Gauge:

4ply rounds 1-6 = 13cm

8ply rounds 1-6 =16cm

Recommended Hook size:

3-3.5 mm for 4ply

3.5-4 mm for 8ply

Or hook appropriate for your chosen yarn weight

Stitch abbreviations:

(American Terms)

Pm: Place marker

Dc: Double crochet

Sc: Single Crochet

Bl: Work the stitch indicated in the back loop only e.g bldc

CL2dc: a cluster of 2 dc worked to form one stitch

Ch: chain

Skp: Skip stitch

Sl st: Slip stitch

Ch-sp: Chain space
