130 g DK weight + 4 mm

What’s this: This is the Sorbet Shawl.

Why should I make this: Sorbet was created solely to allow me to play with these fantastic Artyarns (really, the word decadent was invented for this yarn).

With 1 skein of ensemble light & less than 1 skein of beaded silk & sequins you get a fantastic shawl that looks much more complicated than it actually is.

Despite the beautiful child in the pictures, this is definitely a shawl for adults wanting to spoil themselves =)

When will this get the most use: Year-round.

Who is it for: Lace-loving people! Decadent-yarn-loving people!

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate - You’ll need to be comfortable with crochet. You will need 80g of the softest DK weight yarn you can find, and 50g of beaded DK weight yarn (used here Artyarns ensemble light & Artyarns beaded silk & sequins) & a 4 mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.

Qu’est-ce que c’est? C’est le châle Sorbet.

Pourquoi je l’aime tant? Sorbet a été créé pour que je puisse travailler avec ces laines fantastiques par Iris Artyarns (pour vrai, le mot ‘décadence’ a été inventé pour cette laine).

Avec 1 écheveau de ensemble light & moins d’1 écheveau de beaded silk & sequins vous obtenez un châle magnifique qui a l’air plus compliqué qu’il ne l’est.

Malgré la jolie demoiselle sur les photos, ce châle est définitivement pour adultes qui veulent se gâter =)

Quand sera-t-il utile? Toute l’année.

À qui s’adresse ce modèle? Aux amoureux de points aériens et de laine décadente.

Je commence où? Modèle Intermédiaire – Vous devez être confortable avec le crochet. Vous aurez besoin de 80g de la laine DK la plus douce que vous pourrez trouver et de 50g de laine perlée de poids DK (ici, Artyarns ensemble light & Artyarns beaded silk & sequins) & d’un crochet 4 mm. Vous aurez aussi besoin d’une aiguille à laine et de marque-points.
