250 g fingering weight + 3,5 mm

What’s this: This is the Huit (…Happily Ever After) crochet shawl.

Why should I make this: At the end of every fairy tale, the protagonists get to walk off into the sunset to live happily ever after. This shawl, which is actually my own wedding shawl, promises just that.

When will this get the most use: Whenever you need an all-day hug!

Who is it for: Just about anyone!

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate /
Advanced Beginner - you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches. You will need 250g of fingering weight yarn (used here, Shibui Knits ‘Staccato’) & a 3.5mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.

Qu’est-ce que c’est? C’est le châle Huit (…Happily Ever After) créé pour la 7e Guerre des Mailles – Il était une fois – du collectif Francrochet.

Pourquoi je l’aime tant? À la fin de tous les contes de fée, les personnages dont nous avons suivi les aventures peuvent enfin vivre heureux ensemble (et avoir beaucoup d’enfants, mais avec déjà 2 ados, 2 chiens et 1 chat, nous on passera!)

C’est ce que je vous propose avec ce châle créé pour mon propre mariage qui aura lieu le 23 septembre 2018!!

Quand sera-t-il utile? Quand vous aurez besoin d’un calin qui dure toute la journée.

À qui s’adresse ce modèle? À tout l’monde!

Je commence où? Modèle Intermédiaire / Débutant Avancé – vous devez être confortable avec les mailles de base. Vous aurez besoin de 250g de laine de poids ‘fingering’ (ici, Shibui Knits ‘Staccato’) & d’un crochet 3.5 mm. Vous aurez aussi besoin d’une aiguille à laine et de marque-points.
