Solaris Top is a garment inspired by the delightful and elegant yarn with which was knitted: Solaris, by Feliz y Punto Yarns. It’s a delicate and femenine piece perfect to wear in the warmest days of spring or summer.
The garment is knitted flat and bottom up, starting with a lace motif to then continue with stockinnete stitch and a central motif that grows with the top, while shaping the V back. At a certain point the fronts and backs of the garment are separated to knit them separately, finishing with the join of the straps at shoulder height. Finally, stitches are picked up to knit a small button plackets on the lower back and an i-cord (optional) to wear it like in the pictures, with a ribbon. I hope you enjoy knitting it as much as I enjoyed designing it!

Sizes: 1, 2, 3, (4, 5, 6) 7, 8, 9 equivalent to 78, 82, 87 (94, 103, 109) 119, 130, 141 cm of bust circumference (finished measurements) with 0 - 5 cm of positive ease.

Gauge: 27 sts x 37 rows = 10 cm, measured over stockinette stitch after blocking.

Yarn: about 300, 320, 360,(380, 410, 440) 490, 560, 600 meters of fingering weight yarn. Sample: Solaris (75% mulberry silk, 25% linen, 400m /100gr) by Feliz y Punto Yarns.

Needles: 3.25 mm circular or straight needles (if you choose circular, use a 80 cm cable).

Notions: stitch markers, stitch holders (or scrap yarn), tapestry needle, block mats and pins.

Solaris Top es una prenda inspirada en la deliciosa y elegante lana con la que se tejió: Solaris, de Lanas Feliz y Punto. Es una pieza delicada y femenina perfecta para lucir en los días más cálidos de primavera o verano.
La prenda se teje de abajo para arriba en plano comenzando con un motivo calado, para luego seguir con punto jersey y un motivo central que va creciendo junto con el top, al mismo tiempo que se va dando forma a la espalda baja en V. En cierto punto se separan los delanteros y traseros de la prenda para tejerlos por separado y terminar tejiendo y uniendo los breteles a la altura del hombro. Finalmente, se levantan puntos para tejer una pequeña botonera en la espalda baja y un cordón (opcional) para usarla recogida. ¡Espero que disfrutes tejiéndola tanto como yo disfruté diseñándola!
