I frequently wear this cardigan to my office which is a design studio in Soho, New York City – thus the name for this cardigan.
This flattering design uses a traditional cable that is slightly blown up to exaggerate the cable effect. The shape and clean lines are architectural and thoroughly contemporary with the back a few inches longer than the front, and a little wider too, which gives the cardigan a bit of swing. The cable is highly textural adding to the architectural feel of the garment.
The shoulders, and sleeves are fitted, and the body shape is A-line.
The cardigan is worked from the top down in one piece, with short rows to shape the shoulders and sleeve caps.
