Soft, light, and tender, just like a snowflake – this hat will keep a baby’s head warm and cozy. Knitted in the round, it has no seams or strings to ensure a tiny head is most comfortable.

You can knit this hat with any soft yarn that has approximately 150m / 164 yds in 50 g/ 1.7 oz. The hat in the photos is made with washable extra fine merino wool.

NOTES

To make a double vertical decrease, slip 2 stitches together knitwise (as if you plan to knit 2 together), knit the third stitch, pass the two slipped stitches over the third stitch and off the needle.
