This pattern was designed as part of the Blue Moon Fiber Arts Rockin’ Sock Club with the theme of Lost in Space. I have loved the Star Wars movies forever, and was so happy to have chance to design a Star Wars themed pattern.

Skywalker socks are full of fun to knit texture, including a gorgeous mirrored asymmetrical cable and purl rounds. They are my favourite balance between a patterned and a vanilla sock.

Highlights of Skywalker Socks:

• cuff down

• heel flap & gusset construction with a square heel turn (the fit is super comfortable!)

• the cable pattern is mirrored on each leg

• rounds of purl add to the overall texture

• Socks that Rock is a very plump, round yarn and shows off the stitch patterns so well

• easily modified to fit any size foot (include the cable pattern and add or subtract and number of stitches to make the perfect size for you)

• written for magic loop but is easily modified to use DPNs

• feel free to substitute your favourite fitting heel or to knit these toe up instead
