Shetland Handpaint
This shawl combines a traditional Shetland lace motif with a contemporary hand-painted alpaca yarn to create a versatile garment that can be worn in almost any situation. The lace motif used in the body of the shawl is echoed in the border, and can be interpreted as a tree or a flower, depending on your mood.
The beauty of this colorway is inspired by the colors of the Shetland landscape and custom dyed by Cheryl Potter of Cherry Tree Hill Yarns especially for this book and to help Deb live her dreams.
