Shaded Kerchief

Yarn: A: fine weaving, 2-ply; four shades of blue; total weight, 2 oz.
Needles: number 12
Gauge: 3 stitches to one inch
Chart: divided squares: one box = 4 sts.; 6 boxes: 4 x 6 = 24 sts.
equal triangles: one box= 4 sts.; 12 boxes: 4 x 12 = 48 sts.
To knit: in four blues: units 1 and 3; 2 and 5; 4 and 8; 6 and 7. Follow chart and detailed graphs.
Make one divided square in each color on 24 plus 24 stitches. Drop, do not break yarn until the triangle on 48 stitches in each color is completed.
