This is the 9th in my personal design challenge of 2014 - ‘scarf a month’. For September I decided to choose a lariat style. Made in pure silk with lovely sparkly beads, it can brighten up you outfit any day of the year. Long enough to drape like a necklace, or wrap around your neck like a neckwarmer. And it is also narrow enough to use as a belt.

The lariat has 8 beads (approx 1cm across), but you may choose as many as you like. Around the beads the width is approx. 5cm (2”), and this narrows to approx. 2.5cm (1”). The total length is approx. 180cm (72”).

The pattern is written in English and US terms, is charted and has a few photos to help you.
