This mini mandala was made for Julie who wanted mandalas small enough to be gift tags. There is something very satisfying about making them gift tag size as they are quick to make and you can make many of them in a short time, in lots of lovely colours.

It was designed to be a gift tag but could be used as a small hanging decoration. Yes, imagine these hung on the Christmas tree in seasonal colours and with gold and silver yarn added to some of the rounds!

They can be made in any weight of yarn provided you use a suitable hook size and they use only a small quantity of yarn so are great little stash busters.
