This stocking was made for Darice.

Yarn: You will need two different colored (worsted weight) yarns: A color of your choosing for the main part of the stocking, and a contrasting color (white) for the toe, heel, and cuff.

Stitches Used: The main part of the stocking is made using the sedge stitch; The toe, heel, and cuff are made up of double crochet and single crochet stitches.

Construction: The stocking is worked in one piece from the toe up, ending with a fold-over cuff. Most of it is worked in the round, with the exception of the heel, which is worked in rows.

Extra Help with the Heel: The heel is crocheted in the same manner as this designer’s Advent Calendar Stockings (but with different stitch counts).
