This design is both pretty & versatile as it offers 3 different styles from the same pattern for 3 very different looks. The basic pattern is for a plain glove with the fern pattern placed on the back of the hand but there are also instructions for lacy fingerless mitts and beaded mittens. Sized to fit an average ladies’ hand all styles are button fastened on the inside cuff to complete the look

2 x balls Jeanette Sloan Baby Alpaca DK (100m per 50g or 109 yards per 1 3/4 oz)
or
2 x balls Eden Cottage Whitfell DK (100m per 50g or 109 yards per 1 3/4 oz)
To Fit / Finished Size
One size to fit average sized adult ladies’ hand
Also Needed
For mittens only 364 large (size 6.0) beads
4 small buttons 1cm diameter
Needles
One pair of 3.25 mm ( US 3 ) needles
One set of 3.25 mm ( US 3 ) double pointed needles
Tension
For cuff ~ 28 sts and 36 row to 10 cm measured over stocking worked in rows
For main ~ 28 ½ sts and 34 rounds to 10 cm
measured over stocking stitch worked in the round both using 3.25 mm (US 3) needles or size needed to achieve stated tension
