Seaglass is a discovery, a little wave-smoothed found object, a sea gem resembling anything from aquamarine to peridot. Just like sea glass, this little vest is loose and easy, worn open but for a single button.

The knitting is equally relaxed. As a free-range project, this style gently guides while encouraging random acts of creativity along the way. No mistakes exist here. Even the lace segments inj the front refuse to take themselves too seriously. You will be encouraged to make little riffs of feather & fan here, garter stitch there, and unfold a lovely, loosely-shaped fabric which is surprisingly flattering.

Knit side-to-side, it’s easy to size this piece to suit your measurements. Guides are provided and, to date, both petites and plus-sizes are knitting this successfully.
