Sea Fog represents my return to the delights of lace weight knitting. Like its oceanic namesake, Sea Fog is delicate and airy: a mist-like shroud for your shoulders when the weather turns cool. Sea Fog is an elongated triangle that transitions to a crescent, giving it extra depth than a traditional crescent, but still retains the eye-catching curve that gives a crescent shawl its visual appeal. Central increases are hidden in the central motif that advances down the stockinette body, and then blossoms into a deep lace edge embellished with nupps and beads, flower motifs and arches.

Materials
Size: 50 cm (20 inches) deep at centre; 210 cm (83 inches) around neck edge.
750 metres (820 yards) of any laceweight yarn.
3.75 mm (US5) needles
Approx 163 size 8 seed beads.

Techniques
You will be required to read charts to complete this pattern.
Stitches include k2tog, k3tog, ssk, sssk, sk2p, s2kp2, nupps 4 st decrease, WS row CDD, 3 and 5 st lift, right and left twists, 2/2 right and left cables. Descriptions are given on how to work stitch techniques.
If preferred you can work a p & k into the last yo on WS rows (rather than a k & p), seeing as how you are purling across anyway.
