Seabiscuit is worked seamlessly with two neat little gussets as befits a Guernsey inspired sweater.

Back and both fronts are worked in one piece up to the armholes where they split into three separate pieces.

Each front has an integral knitted edge and the fronts are joined to the back using shoulder straps which are grafted into place the sleeves are picked up and worked downwards from shoulder to cuff in the round as all guns is should be.

I created a grid based on the Cornish steps design which gives you a chance to customise and adding other motifs from the source section of the book.

Seabiscuit is the name given to hard baked biscuits taken on board ships for long journeys. They were divided into grids for easy sharing.

It is also the name of a fabulous see urchinWith a beautiful patterned shell. We have filled each grid with different diamond designs from the book a great opportunity for you to add your own.
