ABOUT
This pattern works great for mini skeins or some of those lovely left-overs that are just waiting for you in your yarn drawer.

The Scrap Eater socks are worked from the toe up with a shadow wrap heel and a small gusset to improve the fit. The different colour sections are worked in intarsia-in-the-round technique. Don’t worry if you haven’t worked intar-sia yet – the pattern provides a detailed tutorial and an additional video tutorial to explain the intarsia-in-the-round technique.

GAUGE
30 stitches and 40 rows = 10 cm /4” in stockinette stitch in the round.

NOTIONS
• Circular needle 2.5 mm / US 1 with at least 80 cm / 32” length
(This pattern uses the magic loop technique. Needle 1 (N1) holds the stitches of the top of foot/front of leg, and needle 2 (N2) holds the stitches of the sole/back of leg.)
• Tapestry needle
• Precision scale to accurately weigh out the yarn per sock

YARN
The sample was knitted with 7 mini skeins of SOUL from the Green/Yellow/Brown set by PUNKROCK UNICORN.
In the appendix you will find a blank template to create your own colour scheme.

Die Srap Eater Socken sind ideal für Miniknäuel oder aber auch für die vielen schönen Reste, die sicher in deiner Wollschublade auf Verwendung warten.
Die Scrap Eater Socken werden von der Spitze aufwärts gestrickt. Der kleine Zwickel an der Shadow-Wrap-Ferse sorgt für eine gute Passform. Die verschiedenfarbigen Abschnitte werden in Intarsiatechnik gestrickt. Keine Sorge, falls du dich an diese Technik noch nicht herangetraut hast – die Anleitung erklärt alles ausführlich und enthält ein zusätzliches Video-Tutorial.

MASCHENPROBE
30 M x 40 R (glatt rechts) = 10 cm x 10 cm

MATERIALIEN
• Rundstricknadel 2,5 mm mit einer Länge von mindestens 80 cm;
(Bei diesem Muster wird die Magic Loop-Technik verwendet. Nadel 1 (N1) hält die Maschen des Fußes / Vorder-teils und Nadel 2 (N2) hält die Maschen der Sohle/Rückseite)
• Stopfnadel zum Fäden vernähen
• optional, aber sehr hilfreich: Präzisionswaage zum genauen Abwiegen des Garns pro Socke

GARN
Das Muster wurde mit 7 Ministrängen SOUL aus dem Set Grün/Gelb/Braun von PUNKROCK UNICORN gestrickt.Im Anhang findest du eine Blanko-Vorlage, mit der du dein eigenes Farbschema erstellen kannst.
