Ropits (Robins) sing everywhere here in winter. I was inspired by their plumage when choosing the colors for the yoke of this sweater and so I named the design after them.

The sweater is knitted seamlessly in the round from the top down and the body is gently oversized and slightly cropped, you can easily knit the body of this design longer if desired, but it will affect the yardage needed.

The pattern repeat is quite easy to follow and the sweater knits up pretty fast. With a bit of attention, this yoke will be totally suitable for a colorwork beginner.

Aquí donde vivo, los petirrojos cantan por todas partes en invierno. Como me inspiré en el plumaje de estas aves al elegir la paleta de color del canesú, decidí llamar a este diseño Ropit, uno de los nombres que reciben estos pájaros en Catalán.

Este jersey se teje sin costuras, en circular, de arriba hacia abajo, y está diseñado para vestirlo con bastante holgura y ligeramente corto. Puedes tejer el cuerpo más largo si lo deseas, pero ten en cuenta que afectará al metraje necesario.

La repetición del motivo es sencilla y el jersey se teje bastante rápido. Con un poco de atención, este canesú será completamente adecuado para principiantes en colorwork.
