Rafflesita
“Rafflesita” is a small version of the 3-foot-in-diameter Rafflesia, a stemless flower that grows on the floor of the tropical forest.
Center is worked in the round. Petals are crocheted back and forth, joining to center as they are worked. The defining characteristic of the flower, the enclosed center, is crocheted around the top of the center after everything else is finished.
Use one or more colors of the same type of yarn and a hook that gives a firm stitch tension.
