This colourwork cowl from Mary Henderson makes a great stashbuster project, as it uses just 20g of each colour. It’s knitted in the round using the stranded colourwork technique – carry the colours not in use up the rounds, catching in the floats. The cowl has corrugated rib edges, and is finished with an i-cord cast-off.
Blacker Yarns’ Samite Silk Blend is a gorgeous mix of wool and recycled silk, which comes in eight rich shades inspired by the legends of King Arthur.
