Re-worked in this super drapey silk blend yarn, I was so thrilled with my latest Quercus shawl that I have re-released the instructions to create a larger version of the original lace-weight classic.

Named from the Latin word for Oak, Quercus cleverly adapts the traditional Shetland Fern Lace pattern to create an elegant shawl or hap. Absorbing yet easy to work, the design consists of four main pattern rows which are simple to memorise. New leaves emerge cleverly from a central spine in a very pleasing manner, only to gently tumble from a minimal border with a delicately fluted effect.
