A la base, Proteles ne devait pas voir le jour en tant que patron. Et finalement, vous l’avez sollicité alors le voici, tout simplement, tel un petit cadeau !

Proteles est donc un col simple plutôt serré pour être au plus près du cou. Il est en côtes 2/2, dans une laine Worsted mais volontairement tricoté dans des aiguilles plus petites pour obtenir un maillage idéal.

Niveau, Difficultés : O°°°°

Taille : 43 cm de circonférence x 30 cm de hauteur

Echantillon : 21 mailles/30 rangs pour 10 cm en côtes 2/2.

Matériel : Aiguilles 4 mm ou aiguilles permettant d’obtenir le bon échantillon.
1 marqueur et une aiguille à laine.

Laine :

Mon col est réalisé avec 2 pelotes de Alpakka Ull (65% Alpaga et 35% Laine) de chez Sandnes Garn (100m) en coloris Black - 1099.
Je le verrai bien aussi tricoté dans la belle laine KMMN (72% Kid Mohair, 13% Mérinos et 9% Nylon) de chez Yarn By Simone (200m), avec un seul écheveau.

Vous pouvez utiliser de la laine Worted ou 2 fils DK et Lace tricotés ensemble, tant que l’échantillon est respecté, en suivant le métrage ci-dessous :

Métrage

150 m soit 2 pelotes de 100 m ou 1 écheveau de 200 m.

Basically, Proteles wasn’t to see the light of day as a pattern. And finally, you asked for it so here it is, quite simply, like a little gift !

Proteles is therefore a simple collar rather tight to be closer to the neck. It’s in 2/2 rib, in a Worsted yarn but deliberately knitted in smaller needles to obtain an ideal stitch.

Level : O°°°°

Size : 43 cm circumference x 30 cm height.

Notions : 4 mm /US 6 needles, or size with which you get gauge.
1 BORM for the beginning of the round and a tapestry needle.

Gauge : 21 sts/30 rows = 10 cm in 2/2 ribs, blocked.

Yarn :

My cowl was knitted out of 2 balls of Alpakka Ull (65% Alpaca et 35% Wool), from Sandnes Garn (100m), in Black colourway - 1099.
I could also see it knitted in the beautiful KMMN (72% Kid Mohair, 13% Merino and 9% Nylon) from Yarn By Simone (200m), with 1 skein.

Given that you get gauge, you can either use a worsted weight yarn in the following meterage :

150 m being 2 balls of worsted weight yarn (100m) or 1 skein of worsted weight yarn (200m).
