“This top has a soft handle - a bit like a hug!” says Mary Henderson. “I’ve used two yarns from Yarnsmiths: Kid Mohair Silk laceweight, which is worked with two strands held together, while the Merino DK is used singly over the Fair Isle and dot patterns. They are delightful together - soft, yet lightweight.
“The tee is worked top down, with a rolled neck, short cap sleeves, and a split hem. Positive ease of a few inches makes layering possible, but the tee is light and soft enough to wear on its own. The twisted garter rib give a firm edge, but needs to be gently steamed to take the curl out!”
