PRIDE 2019 is here and so is this funky new PRIDE-Kerchief! Get ready to have some fun knitting this quirky, scrappy QUICK knit of a sharp!

The PRIDE-Kerchief uses mini skeins, alternating between single and double stranded yarn to blend colors, add a tactile texture, and add drape to a shawl full of fun! Eyelets and short rows combine to create the perfect kerchief shape we’ve all been looking for!

Size: 55 in/140 cm along the top edge; 18 in/45 cm along the deepest width of the shawl. Shawl size may vary, depending on individual knitter’s gauge, yarns used, and blocking preferences.

Recommended yarn: Fingering weight mini skeins/scraps in a lush palette to show off your mini skein PRIDE!

Sample Used: Three Irish Girls Adorn Luxe Comic Book mini skein set (85% Merino/15% Nylon; approx 110 yds per mini
skein) in “Sunday Funnies” (A), “Splash Page” (B), “Heroes for Hire” ( C), “Zap!” (D), “KA-POW!” (E), and “Shazam!” (F).

Yardage: Six mini skeins of approx 25g/110 yards of each color. Approx.150g/660 yards in total.

Needles: US size 9/5.5 mm needles

Gauge: 3.5-4.5 sts to the inch. Pick a needle size/yarn combo that is loose when held single stranded and firm, but drapey when the yarn is held doubled.

Notions: Stitch marker, scissors.

Many thanks to the wonderful Three Irish Girls, Erin and Kelly, for providing this amazing yarn and creating fabulous kits for this design!
