Bramble Bunny has a Pretty Party Outfit to wear today, a “top down” dress with stripes and a picot hem to bring some party frills!

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the dress and shoes are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). This free knitting pattern is for the pink dress and shoes, the Bramble Bunny toy pattern is sold separately.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Hayfield Bonus DK or an equivalent yarn in a pink and white shades
Double knitting/light worsted weight, 100% acrylic
One 100g/280m skein in each colour will be more than adequate

NOTIONS
A darning or tapestry needle for seaming
Three 5mm white buttons

SIZES
One size only - to fit the Bramble Bunny toy.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, all pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight single-pointed knitting needles. The dress pattern incorporates stripes and a picot cast off. You will also need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
