Jingles is a cuddly reindeer, with a bell on their collar and a sprig of holly on their antlers. This toy would make a sweet handmade gift or decoration for the festive season.

This knitting pattern uses acrylic DK yarns and single pointed needles (work flat, not in the round). Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz

NEEDLES:
A pair of 3.25mm single pointed knitting needles (US 3).

RECOMMENDED YARN:
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/276m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS:
Tapestry needle, toy filling, stitch holder, toy safety eyes, a button and gold metal jingle bell for the collar and bell.

SIZES:
One size only - 33cm tall (seated).

TECHNIQUES:
The pattern uses a decorative picot cast on/off for the holly, and step by step written instruction on how to do this are included. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, picking up and knitting stitches along a cast off edge, and seaming to finish.
