Piper Purse
Pattern description from Knitting Little Luxuries: “This bag began as a design experiment when I charted out and knitted an Aran pattern. I decided to turn the resulting piece of fabric on its side, sending the traditional cables in an entirely new direction. Transform your knitting experiment into an unexpected accessory by seaming two sides together, adding simple garter stitch, and finishing it with curved bag handles.”
Finished Measurements: About 11.5” (29cm) wide, 11” (28cm) tall, excluding handles

Louisa Harding Nautical Cotton (100% mercerized cotton; 93 yd 85 m/50 g): #4 gray, 4 balls.
Needles: U.S. size 6 (4 mm), U.S. size 7 (4.5 mm), and U.S. size 8 (5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Cable needle (cn); tapestry needle; 2 curved bag handles, 8.5” (21.5 cm) wide and 5” (12.5 cm) tall.
