Picots and more cowl
The Picots and more project keeps you happily occupied, without being difficult.
In all there are eight stitch patterns to explore in this sampler style cowl, which is a very satisfying knit. It starts out with a Picot cast on and moves into intriguing, yet easy to knit stitch patterns.
The pattern is fully written and also offers charts for some portions.
The blocked size as shown in the sample measures 20” in circumference and 12.5“ in height and when you knit it from a knit kit like I did here, you can even make it longer. The instructions tell you where you can easily expand the length and the knit kits have plenty of yarn do add length.
Yarn used
Taut, a sport weight yarn in a 50/50 cotton/ acrylic blend. 148 yards/50 grams per skein. 230 yards used.
