Armande cowl
Armande cowl, knitted first flat, then in the round with simple knit and purl stitches creating a rib checks pattern. The cowl sports a little side slit.
The yarn used as shown gives the cowl a wonderful lightness and an interesting color play.
The pattern is fully written and also has a chart.
The unblocked size: Circumference 26”, height 10”.
Yarn used
A single skein of “Blends”, a new yarn by Yarnz2go. 220 yards/ 50 grams a skein in a DK weight, hand wound with one variegated and two solid colors that all blend together.

Notions needed
US size 5 (3.5 mm) circular needle 23” (61 cm) in length.
1 Stitch marker.
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge
17 sts and 25 rows in 4” of Stockinette stitch
Techniques used
Knitting and purling flat, joining in the round, binding off, weaving in ends.
Blocking is optional, the same as shown has been left unblocked.
